I bet you know somebody, including yourself, that has once said they wanted to write a book. Well, this podcast episode is perfect for you to tune into! Let’s get your ideas into a book in just 90 days without feeling overwhelmed! Today’s guest for episode 54 of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast is Vikrant Sharuya, the CEO and founder of BestsellingBook. He has guided thousands of entrepreneurs who were first-time authors in their self-publishing journey. He was able to accomplish this through his courses, services and coaching! We’re diving deep into the plot of conceptualization all the way to publishing and earning. Now, there are many channels where you can distribute your book, both in the traditional sense with a hardcover and an electronic version. Either way, Amazon, one of the biggest platforms, will most likely have your work available. However, unlike when you provide your service through your own platforms, Amazon does not give you customer details. So, you don’t end up knowing how well it worked for the reader, what they loved most about your writing or even a way to tell them what other services you can offer to guide them further. But, there is a way for you to get the details and it’s a feature not many know! It's the look-inside feature, where Amazon let’s the customer have a peek at the first few parts of your book! Here, you can introduce a freebie, your website or any way that you can get connected.
A lot of people have amazing ideas they want to get out in the world. However, not many people go through with it. There could be many reasons why they don’t, but most commonly, it’s because they don’t know where to start. There are more than two elements you should take note of when writing. Make sure you tune in to episode 54 of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast to get to know all the elements and details!
Book Outline
One of the reasons why people have such a hard time writing or even starting is because they don’t know where to start and where to take their ideas. However, like in every journey, you need a map to guide you. The first element you need to consider is a book outline. It should indicate what your ideas are and how they flow together. This will also help you visualize where you want to take your audience.
Reason
The second element you need to figure out is the reason you’re writing. Answer the “why”. This will help you establish your target audience. Figure out what problems your target audience is facing and how you can relate that to your book. Most importantly, how can your book become a safe space to learn ways to overcome their pain points. Answering the “why” will help you write a book beneficial for your reader and, more significantly, a book FOR them.
